Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a SUD Assessment and Evaluation Clinician to perform substance use disorder evaluations and determine treatment needs for DDHS clients. The role is co-located across DDHS and ARTS Parkside Clinic in Denver, with onsite responsibilities and data entry into the ICM system.

The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in a related field, at least one year of SUD clinic experience with MAT, and current Colorado DORA certification/licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• One year of professional level experience in a SUD treatment clinic/facility including medication-assisted treatment.
• Colorado DORA certification/licensure as CAS, LPC-C, SW-C, LAC-C or MFT-C.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Substance Use Disorder assessments and enter data into the ICM system.
• Communicate with ARTS, DDHS, and Signal with professionalism and expertise.
• Attend ARTS team meetings, trainings, and other events as directed by supervisor.
• Apply DSM-5 and ASAM criteria to diagnoses and placement decisions.
• Collaborate with DDHS as part of an intervention team.
• Provide SUD training and consultation for DDHS staff and other stakeholders.
• Provide referrals to patients for necessary resources.
