Job summary

Advisor Group Inc. is seeking a Succession & Acquisition Consultant in Scottsdale, AZ to support the Osaic platform service and advisor network with succession, merger, acquisition, valuation and continuity efforts.

The role engages with existing financial professionals needing internal succession support and advisors seeking to acquire or merge within or beyond the Osaic network. A strong background in brokerage and financial practice benchmarking is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma with significant experience considered.
• 5+ years of industry experience with a major broker dealer is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience with Salesforce beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-department communication skills.
• CPA, CFP, CFA credentials and FINRA Series 7/24 preferred; valuations credentials (CVA, AVA, ABV, ASA, CBA) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as a consultant for succession and acquisition within the Osaic network.
• Support the development of an internal acquisition lending program.
• Develop, manage, enhance and promote the Succession & Acquisition efforts.
• Track data on succession and acquisition and create/prepare reports for SVP and Sr. Management.
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of Osaic’s interactive matching website for buyers/sellers/partners.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Transitions, Legal, Compliance, Licensing & Registration, Commission, etc.
• Assist in the succession and acquisition workflow to keep advisors tracked.
• Provide assistance with financial modeling, Excel tracking, SharePoint and PowerPoint presentations.
• Coach advisors through a practice benchmarking process and evaluate profitability/transferability.
• Develop value-add and regional meetings for succession planning and networking.
• Help develop a focused marketing campaign for leading producers.
• All other duties as assigned
