Jobs for America's Graduates - Kansas is looking to hire a full-time Success Academy Specialist for Southwest Kansas, who is passionate about student success and supporting them as they overcome barriers and prepare for secondary education/training, military and career pathways. A Day in the Life of a Success Academy Specialist

A Success Academy Specialist identifies, recruits, and educates students who have difficulties between them and graduation while helping them make a successful transition from school to college, military, or career pathways with the use of the JAG model. These individuals develop positive relationships with students through utilizing the JAG Advantage of project-based learning, trauma informed, and employer engagement to deliver student-centered programs with the goal of helping youth achieve their greatest potential.

Success Academy Specialists deliver value-added instruction, support, and advocacy to graduates and non-graduates through follow-up services with students. Although this role may have its challenges, it can be very rewarding as positive relationships are developed with students and one sees the successful futures students go on to lead after they leave JAG-K.
