This full-time role focuses on student success, helping middle and high school students overcome barriers and prepare for secondary education, training, military, and career pathways.

You will recruit, educate, and mentor students, build positive relationships using JAG strategies, and deliver student-centered programs with trauma-informed, project-based learning to guide

A Day in the Life of a Success Academy Specialist

A Success Academy Specialist identifies, recruits, and educates students who have difficulties between them and graduation while helping them make a successful transition from school to college, military, or career pathways with the use of the JAG model. These individuals develop positive relationships with students through utilizing the JAG Advantage of project‑based learning, trauma informed, and employer engagement to deliver student‑centered programs with the goal of helping youth achieve their greatest potential.

Success Academy Specialists deliver value‑added instruction, support, and advocacy to graduates and non‑graduates through follow‑up services with students. Although this role may have its challenges, it can be very rewarding as positive relationships are developed with students and one sees the successful futures students go on to lead after they leave JAG‑K.
