Terracon in California seeks a mid-level Subsurface Utility Engineering Project Manager to lead SUE exploration projects, coordinate surveys and geophysical teams, and manage client communications. You will review utility records, oversee data collection, and ensure adherence to ASCE 38-22 standards.
The role requires 4+ years in SUE with a geophysics or engineering background, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel within the region. PE/PGp/PLS on track in CA is preferred.
Oversee projects related to Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Exploration. The Project Manager (PM) will oversee utility records review and documentation, and coordinate with survey crews, geophysical teams, and test holes. Geophysical or survey experience is preferred in-order to assist with coordination of primarily QLD through QLB designating activities. The PM will also assist with proposal writing and management. Define survey objectives, design survey approaches, coordinate with subcontractors, owners, clients, and internal teams. Results are incorporated into the planning, design and construction of vital infrastructure such as roads, tunnels, airports, industrial, and other facilities. All SUE projects would be performed in accordance with ASCE 38-22/02.
