Job summary

Agile Underground Services is seeking a Subsurface Utility Engineering Division Manager in Orlando, FL. You will lead operations across subsurface utility engineering, private locating, CCTV inspections, and vacuum excavation, guiding strategic planning, staff development, and client relationships.

You will drive financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality results while aligning with the GroundHawk division’s mission and objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, or related field.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Proven experience in managing teams and driving performance.
• Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and resource allocation.
• Experience with project management practices and tools.
• Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and quality standards.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience contributing to strategic planning and growth initiatives.
• Professional Engineer license (SE region a plus).

Responsibilities

• Establish goals and objectives for the department aligned with the company mission.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve departmental goals.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee overall department work.
• Direct Project Managers’ work and schedules.
• Support strategic growth initiatives and business development.
• Lead EOS meetings and processes.
• Oversee performance, budgets, and timeliness of projects.
• Review reports to ensure on-schedule and within-budget delivery.
