Job summary

MSH in Dallas is seeking a field-focused Subsurface Engineer with 2+ years of GPR or construction scanning experience to advance complex projects. You will conduct subsurface investigations, capture data with GPS-enabled software, and deliver precise mark-outs and reports on schedule.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct subsurface investigations using GPR, EM pipe location, and related technologies
  • Digitally capture and document findings via GPS-enabled field software
  • Deliver accurate mark-outs, on-site solutions, and reports meeting strict quality and safety standards
  • Communicate with clients before, during, and after fieldwork to confirm data accuracy and completeness
  • Generate new business by identifying prospects through site visits, office outreach, and networking events
  • Work alongside Business Development, Account Managers, and Branch Leadership on cross-sell opportunities
  • Build and present custom quotes, proposals, and pricing as a consultative solution provider
  • Align sales activity and project timing with branch operations for seamless service delivery
  • Track leads, client interactions, and opportunities in the CRM
  • Attend and represent the company at industry events, safety meetings, and project kickoffs

What You\'ll Bring

  • 2+ years of GPR or construction scanning experience preferred, with verifiable history and references
  • Demonstrated field experience in underground utility locating and mapping
