Substitute Teacher - Middle & High School

Position: Teacher – MS/HS Substitute Teacher

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction and fulfill other responsibilities of a teacher who is absent, generally on a short term basis.
• Engage fully in the mission of the school, working in partnership with the home and church.
• Be willing to sign the PCS Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Statement.
• Allow a background check after a preliminary offer of employment is made.
• Work all positions in-person, on-site.

Work Week and Hours

Dependent upon need; generally weekdays between 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Current State Teaching License

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• ACSI certification
• Two years of teaching experience at the Middle and/or High School levels
