LifeWise Academy seeks dedicated substitute teachers to deliver LifeWise lessons in alignment with our beliefs. The role emphasizes classroom safety, engaging instruction, and strong communication with teachers and volunteers.

Ideal candidates are active church participants with a mature Christian faith and excellent interpersonal skills, capable of managing a dynamic classroom and following LifeWise policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Active church participant with alignment to LifeWise beliefs.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Statement of Faith
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Caring, perceptive, and patient with students

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement LifeWise curriculum in classroom.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment.
• Follow LifeWise student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and classroom materials.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers and the teacher.
