iLEAD is seeking a substitute teacher to support the academy by providing staffing when extra help is needed to ensure program success. The role requires readiness to obtain an emergency one-year substitute certificate with a high school diploma or GED or a five-year certificate with a bachelor’s degree.
Responsibilities include following the absent teacher’s plans, maintaining classroom routines, supervising students, and reporting progress to the iLEAD Director.
The iLead substitute teacher will assist the academy by providing additional staffing when the center requires extra support to ensure the program's success.
Substitutes must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for periods of time to meet job requirements. Must have physical and TB test and be able to lift to 50 lbs. Must possess a valid driver’s license, automobile liability insurance and have reliable transportation to travel to and from work. Must clear and pass state criminal history records check and sex offender registry check prior to hire date and pass Child Abuse and Neglect state registry check (CAN) within 90 days of hire.
