Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Hartford, CT seeks a Substitute Teacher Assistant to support early childhood education teams. You will assist teachers with daily classroom routines, supervise children, and help implement developmentally appropriate activities in alignment with state and CACFP standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Enrollment in or completion of CDA program preferred.
• Experience working with children 3 months to 1 year.
• Ability to keep and maintain records and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of children by sight and sound and maintaining appropriate teacher-to-child ratios.
• Assist in daily classroom routines and activities as directed by the Teacher.
• Complete required paperwork in a timely manner according to CRT policy.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and cleanliness of classroom and playground.
• Attend team meetings, training, and other required activities.
