Job summary

Hardy County Board of Education is seeking a substitute for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) after-school program for the 2026-2027 school year. Eligibility includes holding a West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate and successfully completing the county interview process and WVDE trainings.

Qualifications

• Hold a West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate.
• Strong knowledge of elementary/middle curriculum with reading and/or math intervention.
• Complete Hardy County interview process.
• Complete all required county and WVDE trainings.
• Able to perform duties per Job Description with or without accommodations.
• Applicants with recent unsatisfactory evaluations are not eligible.
• Unsatisfactory interview performance disqualifies applicants.
• Unfavorable references disqualify applicants.
• Past dismissal or non-renewal for cause disqualifies applicants.
