Pocahontas County Schools in West Virginia is seeking a Substitute Teacher for the Learning Beyond the Bell / 21st Century Community Learning Centers program. You will supervise students, deliver lesson plans, and provide instructional support during after-school hours in contract/hourly positions.

$25.00 per hour
On an as-needed basis beginning with the 2026-2027 Learning Beyond the Bell / 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Program, including the summer component of the grant program.
Monday through Thursday, up to three (3) hours per day after school.
Dates and hours will be determined based on student enrollment, funding availability, and program needs.
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Program is designed to support and extend learning opportunities for K-12 students beyond the regular instructional day and school year. The program provides academic enrichment opportunities to help students meet state and local standards in core academic subjects, offers enrichment activities that complement the regular instructional program, and supports parents and families through literacy and other educational services.
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Substitute Teacher provides supervision, instructional support, and enrichment opportunities to participating students during the absence of a regularly assigned program teacher. The substitute teacher implements lesson plans and activities provided by the program, maintains a safe and positive learning environment, and supports the goals and objectives of the Learning Beyond the Bell Program.
