SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

REPORTS TO: School Building Administration

PAY TYPE: Daily Rate, Non-Exempt, Classified, Non-Supervisory

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise students in absence of their original teacher
• Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by the classroom teacher
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators
• Manage classroom behavior and student engagement
• Perform other duties as assigned by the School Principal or staff
