Job summary

Louisa-Muscatine Community School District is seeking qualified individuals to serve as substitute teachers across its Elementary, Junior High, and High School campuses. This role supports daily classroom coverage and helps ensure continuity of instruction.

Applicants must hold an Iowa substitute authorization or Iowa teaching license, plus Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training and a 30-minute Seizure First Aid course.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide substitute teaching across assigned subjects/grades in Louisa-Muscatine Elementary, Junior High, and High School.
• Ensure coverage and maintain a positive learning environment during substitutions.

We want you to have substitute assignments which are conducive to your skills!
All substitute teachers must possess an Iowa substitute authorization or Iowa teaching license. Substitute teachers must have Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter and a 30 minute Seizure First Aid training.

$160 Per Day or $200 Per Day for Retired Teachers. Normally in increments of 1/2 or full days.
