Job description

Prairie Hill CCSD 133 is looking for substitute teachers to serve at both Prairie Hill Elementary School and Willowbrook Middle School. Substitute pay is $135/day and an extra $20/day for retired Prairie Hill School District employees!

The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the continuity of classroom instruction in a positive learning environment through effective instruction as specified by the lesson plans provided by the teacher while the teacher is absent.

Qualifications / Experience

• Current ISBE Substitute Teaching endorsement, Short Term Substitute Teaching License, or PEL with endorsement(s), required.
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferred.
• Knowledge/experience supporting content and skills relevant to the teacher's professional responsibilities.
• Valid substitute packet issued from the Regional Office of Education, preferred, or valid background check performed by Prairie Hill CCD 133, required.
