Job Overview

St. Charles School District 303 has many opportunities to substitute teach in our 17 schools. We set high expectations for our students, staff and substitute teachers.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Illinois Professional Teaching License (PEL)
• Illinois Substitute Teaching License (SUB) (requires a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education)
• Paraprofessional License and a bachelor's degree

Compensation

• Daily Substitute Teacher Rate: $145 per day
• Loyalty Rate (after 31 days as a District 303 Daily Substitute Teacher): $165 per day
• Long Term Substitute Teacher Rate: $220 per day
