Job summary

Training & Research Foundation is seeking a Substitute Teacher (as needed) to guide children in activities that foster social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. You will help plan individual and group activities tailored to age levels, promoting learning during classroom time.

This position requires working with children and families, and adherence to licensing rules. The role is limited to a maximum of 25 hours per week, with compensation ranging from $23 to $25 per hour, depending

• 6 semester units or equivalent in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
• CTC Associate Teacher, Teacher, Master Teacher, or Site Supervisor Permit.
• Experience working with children and families.

Requirements

Education/Certifications

6 semester units or equivalent quarter units in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. CTC Associate Teacher, Teacher, Master Teacher, or Site Supervisor Permit. Experience working with children and families.

Other Requirements

• Must successfully pass a physical examination and have a current T.B. clearance, pertussis, measles and influenza vaccinations.


• Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certificate


• Must complete & pass a criminal background clearance through Community Care Licensing (DOJ/FBI/CAI).


• Must possess a CA driver’s license, and evidence of automobile insurance. (If applicable.)


• Max 25 hours a week.


• COMPENSATION: $23 TO $25 PER HOUR
