Manistee Area Public Schools is seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide classroom instruction and student supervision in the absence of the regularly assigned teacher. You will follow the teacher's lesson plans and maintain a safe, orderly environment.
Responsibilities include monitoring student participation, reporting concerns to school staff, and complying with health, safety, confidentiality, and school policies. This is a temporary, school-day assignment with fingerprinting requirements.
The Substitute Teacher provides classroom instruction and student supervision in the absence of the regularly assigned teacher. The position follows the teacher's lesson plans, maintains established classroom routines, supports a safe and productive learning environment, and communicates relevant information to school personnel at the end of the assignment.
