Rainbow Childcare Monroe, Inc. is seeking a reliable Substitute Teacher to fill in for our daycare classrooms when needed. You will help maintain a secure, engaging environment for young children and support daily routines in the absence of the regular teacher.

This role involves supervising children, assisting with activities, and following lead lesson plans and center policies. Excellent communication, a positive attitude, and a passion for early childhood care are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 credits or one noncredit course in early childhood education.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

About This Role

We're looking for a reliable and adaptable Substitute Teacher to fill in for our daycare classrooms when needed. As a key support staff, the ideal candidate will help maintain a secure, supportive, and engaging environment for young children, ensuring daily routines and activities run smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher. This role requires supervising children, assisting with age-appropriate learning activities, supporting social and emotional development, and following established lesson plans and center policies. Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for early childhood care are essential.

What You’ll Do

Requirements

At least 2 credits or one noncredit, department‑approved course in early childhood education before completing 240 cumulative hours of work as a substitute. Is at least 18 years of age.
