Job summary

The Hortonville Area School District is seeking substitute teachers to create an encouraging learning environment for students when their regular Teacher is absent. Substitutes will manage and instruct the class from roll call through tidying up the classroom after students leave.

Responsibilities include following provided lesson plans, maintaining a positive learning environment, adapting methods to student needs, supervising in and out of the classroom, and assigning in-class and at-home work

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Wisconsin DPI teaching license.

Some of the Substitute Teacher's duties and responsibilities include:

• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular Teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students

• Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student

Pay - $135 Full day or $67.50 for 1/2 day
