Ysleta Independent School District invites qualified individuals to join as substitute teachers. The role involves assuming instructional responsibilities in the campus principal or designee's absence, following lesson plans, and maintaining classroom discipline in alignment with district policies.
Applicants must hold a valid Texas teaching certificate and have 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university.

Assume responsibilities of the classroom teacher as directed by the campus principal and/or designee; provide instruction in the absence of the classroom teacher. Adhere to federal and state laws, as well as, district policies procedures and regulations.
Certification: Certified substitute teachers must have a valid Texas teaching certificate.
Thirty (30) credit hours from an accredited college/university. Must have command of the English language to include the ability to read, write, and speak. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior; strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Maintain emotional control under stress. Requires some bending, reaching, standing, kneeling and squatting.
