YMCA is seeking a Substitute Teacher in Annandale, NJ for a part-time role. The position offers an hourly rate of $15.49 to $17.00 and a flexible schedule to support children in a fun, diverse environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Prior experience working with children (professional, volunteer, or familial).
• Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program.
• Leading age appropriate activities.
• Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children.
• Assistant classroom teacher to cover when someone is out on PTO.
