Job summary

Eckerd Connects in Albany, GA is seeking a part-time Substitute Instructor to provide instructional support in a regular classroom, delivering lessons in designated subject areas and promoting a positive atmosphere to maximize student motivation.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (Texas Substitute Teaching permit preferred), a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Hourly Rate: $17.20

On Call Position Up to 29 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities

• The Substitute Instructor performs as an instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in designated subject area.
• Promotes a positive and desirable atmosphere within the classroom setting to insure maximum student motivation.
• The Substitute Instructor maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom setting in order to insure maximum learning.
• Maintains student personnel folders; records and forwards daily attendance to the Student Records area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Texas Substitute Teaching permit required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
