Job summary

San Juan Unified School District is seeking a Substitute Special Events Leader II for on-call and temporary assignments in Teaching & Learning. Salary is $25.30 per hour, with work year and hours on an as-needed basis.

The role requires a high school diploma with 48 college units (or a two-year degree or higher) or passing the IA Proficiency Exam, plus safety clearances and strong communication, organization, and motivational skills with students in grades 4–8.

Qualifications

• All staff providing direct service to pupils must meet the minimum requirements for an Instructional Aide in the district which are:
• High school diploma and
• 48 college units / 60 quarter units
• or proof of a two-year degree or higher
• or proof of passing a district approved Instuctional Assistant Proficiency Exam
• Must meet all district safety/health clearance requirements.
• Ability to communicate with staff and administration, organized, and motivating.
• Must have experience working with children in grades 4 8 and education in their discipline.
