Job summary

Precision HR Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Substitute School Nurse for Moon Area School District for the 2026-2027 school year. The RN will provide health and emotional support to students and staff, including first aid and incident reporting.

Shifts run 9am-1pm with a primary High School opening and one floater role. Competitive compensation is $35 per hour, paid weekly, with required clearances and current First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN with current credentials.
• Clearances within one year: PA State Criminal History Record, Child Abuse, and FBI Criminal History Report.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer First Aid, CPR/AED, and authorized health treatments.
• Complete injury or accident reports for students or staff.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• May cover for the school nurse during absences or field trips.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Substitute School Nurse provides, monitors, and promotes a wide range of health, wellness, and emotional support to students, including but not limited to:
• Administering First Aid, CPR/AED, and authorized health treatments in accordance with established procedures to students, staff, and persons on school grounds.
• Completing injury or accident reports for hurt students or staff
• Maintaining confidentiality at all times
• Substitutes may cover for the school nurse when they are absent or attend field trips.

REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Clearances must be (within one year): PA State Criminal History Record, Child Abuse Report, and FBI Criminal History Report
• Current First Aid/CPR
