Qualificações

• Licensed EMT, LPN, RN, or CMA in GA.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification (Adult & Pediatric).
• School nursing or pediatric experience preferred.
• Familiarity with common childhood illnesses and chronic conditions.
• Ability to work independently and remain calm in urgent situations.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and FERPA guidelines.
• Collaborates effectively with staff and external partners.

Responsabilidades

Position Type: Hourly $40 per hour / As-Needed Basis

Job Summary:

The Main Street Academy is seeking compassionate and dependable healthcare professionals to serve as On-Call Substitute School Nurses. This per-diem role is ideal for EMTs, LPNs, RNs, and CMAs who want to earn extra income in a rewarding educational environment. The nurse will provide essential health services to students and staff, supporting a safe and healthy school community.

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed EMT, LPN, RN, or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in the state of Georgia
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certified (Adult & Pediatric required)
• School nursing or pediatric experience preferred
• Familiarity with common childhood illnesses, chronic conditions (asthma, diabetes, seizures), and first aid practices
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and respond calmly in urgent situations
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and FERPA guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff and external partners

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
