Job summary

Mansfield City Schools District is seeking Substitute Custodian staff to perform general cleaning and maintenance across district buildings. You will assist the Facilities Manager and work under the head custodian for assigned duties.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, wiping surfaces, managing waste, and helping with event setup and deliveries. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cleaning/maintenance experience is desirable.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Check and secure buildings at start/end of shift.
• Clean rooms, restrooms, halls, and offices to district standards.
• Sweep, mop, wax floors, and clean carpets.
• Remove trash and maintain recycling program.
• Set up furniture for events and meetings.
• Deliver supplies between classrooms and offices.
