Job summary

The Mansfield City School District is seeking substitute custodians to support district buildings under the supervision of the Facilities Manager. Responsibilities include cleaning, maintenance, and assisting with room setups and deliveries across school facilities.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid Ohio driver’s license or reliable transportation, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ohio Driver's license or ability to provide own transportation.
• Previous experience in building and cleaning maintenance is desirable.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance in district buildings and grounds.
• Secure building at beginning and end of shift for safety and cleanliness.
• Clean floors, restrooms, classrooms, offices, and other areas to district standards.
• Assist with deliveries, setup of rooms, and recycling program participation.
• Follow safety rules and wear appropriate safety gear.
