Job summary

Stokes County Schools Transportation in Germanton, North Carolina seeks a Substitute Bus Driver to operate a school bus on assigned routes, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensuring student safety and discipline. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Valid NC CDL with school bus certification preferred.
• Ability to maintain discipline and communicate effectively with students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document findings as required.
• Operate the assigned school bus on route/schedule provided by Zone Transportation Supervisor.
• Maintain discipline of students and ensure safety of passengers.
• Report any mechanical defects or safety issues to the supervisor or garage.
• Secure the bus and complete required reports and time cards.
