Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to follow a fixed route and schedule with safe passenger handling.
• Strong communication skills with students, parents and staff.
• Maintain passenger confidentiality and proper records daily.

Responsibilities

• Transport a small number of passengers safely to and from destinations on a predetermined route.
• Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle and fasten seat belts.
• Keep the van clean and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and logs.
• Follow directions from the Transportation Department Director and communicate issues as they arise.
