Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience driving large vehicles preferred; transporting humans advantageous.
• Ability to operate a school bus and follow safety rules.
• Ability to complete required reports and time cards.
• Maintain discipline and communicate with school personnel and guardians.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections and documents them.
• Operates the assigned school bus on routed schedules.
• Reports defects or incidents to supervisors and mechanics.
• Maintains discipline of students and enforces safety standards.
• Completes time cards and incident reports; secures bus after runs.
• Keeps bus clean and reports accidents as required.
