Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pick up and discharge students according to established time lines; observe legal and defensive driving practices in all weather conditions.
• Maintain order and discipline among passengers and report behavior issues to appropriate personnel; enforce bus rules.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of buses and report mechanical malfunctions or other problems.
• Collaborate with Transportation Director to establish and maintain student bus stops and transportation schedules.
• Maintain buses in a clean and safe operating condition; load and unload students and assist with wheelchair lifts as needed.
• Operate a two-way radio and perform related duties as assigned by the Transportation Director.
