Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Wyoming Class B CDL with P and S endorsements by conclusion of training
• Department of Transportation Medical Examiner’s Certificate upon offer of employment
• Driver insurability via district’s insurance
• Must obtain and maintain Defensive Driving and CPR/First Aid Certificates by conclusion of district-provided training

Responsibilities

• Drives a school bus or district vehicle to transport passengers to and from school, field trips, and/or activities in a safe and timely manner
• Informs school personnel and parents of transportation policies and routes
• Monitors passengers to enforce safety rules and assist during loading and unloading
