Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development is seeking a Bus Driver to safely transport children and families to and from the center. The role requires a valid WY driver's license, clean driving record, and willingness to train for a CDL with S and P endorsements.

Base pay is $16.00 per hour, 12 hours per week, 176 days per year. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and ensure all riders are buckled and supervised, while adhering to agency policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with valid Wyoming driver's license and liability insurance.
• CDL with S and P endorsements obtainable; willingness to train for higher compensation.
• Reliable, organized, and detail oriented.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work with diverse individuals, including families and children.
• Must complete CPR/First Aid within 90 days; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation needs with the Center Director daily.
• Safely transport children and families to and from the center.
• Observe traffic laws and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Return riders home or to approved stop; organize bus routes.
• Maintain bus and records; keep logs and receipts updated.
• Provide emergency care as appropriate and ensure rider safety.
• Adhere to agency policies and safety standards; maintain positive conduct on bus.
