Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development Inc. is seeking a part-time Bus Driver to safely transport children and families to and from the center.

You will coordinate daily routes, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure all passengers are secured and supervised according to safety rules. This role requires a valid WY driver’s license, a clean driving record, liability insurance, and the potential to obtain a Class C CDL with S and P endorsements.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED and be 18 years of age.
• Candidates with CDL are eligible for higher compensation; training may be provided.
• Must obtain necessary certifications and pass health checks.
• Compliance with safety, licensing, and agency rules is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children and families to and from the center.
• Coordinate transportation needs with Center Director.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and observe traffic rules.
• Maintain bus and required paperwork, including logs and maintenance records.
• Ensure all children are buckled and supervised; maintain safety at stops.
• Provide emergency care as appropriate and support positive public relations.
