Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work within a team concept.

• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Criminal history fingerprint clearance (employer cost).
• CDL Class B with passenger endorsement, air brake restriction removed, OSPI bus driving certification.
• Valid First Aid Card.
• DOT physical as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate school buses and fleet vehicles for daily routes and events.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Perform driving in adverse weather and maintain timely schedules.
• Train passengers in emergency procedures and assist with loading/unloading for riders with disabilities.
• Maintain safety record and comply with traffic laws and district policies.
• Execute janitorial tasks or related duties as directed.
