Job summary

Brandywine School District seeks a Substitute Bus Driver for the 26-27 school year. Location: Brandywine Transportation Office. Salary is $29.57 per hour, commensurate with the district's casual/seasonal schedule.

Position is casual/seasonal with duties to transport students safely and on time. Requirements include a Class A or B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsement; clean driving record; background check; pre-employment drug screening; TB testing; and annual physical.

Qualifications

• Class A or Class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsement.
• Background check and child protection registry verification.
• Pre-employment drug screening and TB testing.
• Free of disqualifying felonies and driving violations in past five years.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and related activities.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and adhere to schedules.
• Follow state/federal transport rules and district handbooks.
• Act with courtesy and protect student safety at all times.
• Report incidents to the Dispatcher and supervisor as required.
