Qualifications

• Ohio requires Educational Aide permit or equivalent credential.
• Must meet ParaPro Assessment or have an associate degree or higher.
• Ability to complete at least 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours.
• Strong communication with students, staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Assist assigned student with physical tasks as required (lift at least 50 lb).
• Reinforce class rules when the regular teacher is absent.
• Assist substitute teacher and work with small groups.
• Accompany students on trips to the office or nurse and support evaluations.
