Kids for the Future in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Substitute Educator to support students with disabilities in various school settings, under teacher supervision. The role involves assisting with instructional activities, tracking progress, and facilitating accommodations and positive behavior strategies.
The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and strong teamwork, communication, and human-relations skills to collaborate with staff and students in a dynamic educational environment.
Education:High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
Qualifications:Ability to work with a variety of student behaviors and educational needs, primarily in the general education classroom. Ability to work as a team member, demonstrates human relations skills, and demonstrates effective communication skills.
Job Goal:Assist students with disabilities in a variety of school settings, including specialized classrooms, under the supervision of teachers/related services personnel. Disabilities include autism, emotional disturbance, physical impairments, intellectual disabilities, adult transition (18-21 years of age) and alternate settings.
