Seeking Substitute Nurses for the School City of Hobart. Positions are filled on an as-needed basis.
To support student health and access to learning on an as-needed basis by providing nursing services, health assessment, intervention, medication administration, and health office coverage in a safe and compliant school environment.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of the position.
This position is scheduled on an as-needed and as-available basis.
Non-Exempt
This position requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, bend, move throughout the school building and health office, respond promptly to student health needs and emergencies, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work is performed primarily indoors in a school setting, including the health office and other areas of the building, and requires frequent interaction with students, staff, families, and outside providers. The position may involve exposure to illness, body fluids, medications, and other routine health office hazards and may require travel between buildings or district locations, as assigned.
