Job summary

Gretna Public Schools in Gretna, NE seeks a Substitute Teacher to maintain instructional continuity by following lesson plans, managing a classroom, and supporting student progress. Immediate start; local sub certificate preferred; Bachelor's degree and Nebraska Teaching Certificate with endorsements required. Reports to Principal or Designee. Pay rate $185/day; long term $200/day after day 11; extra $10/day for days over 10 in a semester.

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and behavior.
• Communicate any issues, concerns, or observations to the school administration.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional periods as needed.
• Adhere to school policies and procedures at all times.
• Enforce all administration policies and rules governing students.
• Serve as a role model to all students.

Pay rate $185/day. Long term - $200/day startingthe 11th consecutive day in the same assignment. Substitute teachers will also receive an extra $10 per day for each day worked over 10 in a semster.
