Job summary

Conewago is seeking a Substitute Instructional Aide for the 2026-27 school year. You will work under the supervision of a certified staff member to assist with students in the classroom and to free teachers for curriculum development.

Responsibilities include supporting reading, language arts, math, and computer instruction, guiding students individually or in groups, and assisting with assessments and daily activities. Hours vary by building.

Qualifications

• Assist with reinforcing reading, language arts, mathematics and computer instruction.
• Ability to work with students individually and in small groups.
• Experience with classroom routines and basic record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist and guide students to reinforce core skills and instructional programs.
• Support professional staff in administering and correcting classroom exercises and assessments.
• Assist with classroom preparations and instructional material distribution according to student needs.
• Maintain records of student learning and performance as required.
