Job summary

All Saints School in Puyallup, WA seeks an on-call/substitute ELC/School Aide to support teachers and foster a positive learning environment for young students. The role is part-time and in-person, with a schedule Monday through Friday between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Ideal candidates will have a passion for early childhood education, strong communication skills, and experience with children aged 18 months to 5 years and K-8th graders. CPR/First Aid is preferred to ensure student safety.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Preferred).
• Experience in Early Learning: 1 year (Preferred).
• Ability to work with diverse needs and learners.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and transitions to ensure safety and positive behavior.

Job Details: Job Location: 1115 All Saints School, Puyallup - Puyallup, WA 98371, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly, We are seeking an on-call/substitute dedicated and energetic ELC/School Aide to support classroom teachers and enhance the learning environment for young students. This paid on-call position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children, assist with instructional activities, and promote a positive, inclusive classroom/playground atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, possess strong communication skills, and have experience working with children of diverse needs. Your role will be vital in ensuring smooth daily operations, fostering student engagement, and supporting educational compliance and development standards.

Responsibilities

Skills

• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and educational compliance standards.
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, teachers, and staff.
• First aid and CPR certification is preferred to ensure student safety in emergency situations.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, tutor, and provide childcare in a nurturing manner.
