Cook County ISD is seeking a Substitute Food Service Kitchen Helper to assist with meal preparation, serving, and cleanup duties in a school setting. Under the supervision of the Food Service Specialist, you will perform general kitchen tasks during staff absences.
The ideal candidate must be able to lift 30 pounds and have a high school diploma. Previous food service experience and 'Safe Serve' certification are preferred. This position is part-time and non-exempt with a compensation of $19.33 per hour.
Position Function: Under the direct supervision of the Food Service Specialist, performs general meal prep, serving, dish washing, and cleanup duties for school breakfasts and lunches when Food Service staff are absent.
