Job summary

Southwest Allen County Schools is seeking a school lunch program assistant to load/unload dishwashers, operate the cashier station, and interact with students while serving meals. The role requires following procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.

The position offers a flexible schedule with duties across multiple school sites within the district, including food service and basic customer service tasks. Prior restaurant or cafeteria experience is helpful but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to safely operate school food service equipment in area of responsibility.
• Good oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be able to get along with others in a team situation.
• Must be willing to accept flexible schedule and be willing to work at any school within the District.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or cafeteria setting is desirable.
