TheUintaCounty School District#1 Substitute Custodian supports theschool bymaintaining thebuilding and grounds that supports a learning environment that promotes health, attitude, and works to support the success ofstudents academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally.

CleaningandMaintenance
- Cleansassignedareasofthebuilding
- Responsibleforkeepingbuildingsclean andorderly.Thisincludes butisnotlimitedto:
- Pickingupandcollectingtrash
- Sweeping,mopping,vacuuming,dusting,disinfecting,scrabbingtables
- Cleaningrestrooms
- Maintenanceandcareforbuildingplants
- Sweeptheentriesandsidewalks
- ResponsibleforcommunicatingwithLeadcustodiananyneedsforthecleaningclosets
- Responsiblefordailymaintenanceofthecafeteria.Thisincludesbutisnotlimitedto:
- Cleaningoftables
- Sweepandscrubfloors
- Removaloftrash
- Set up andtakedownalltablesandchairs
- ResponsibleforassistingCafeteriastaffin any waysneeded

- Responsibleforsupporting LeadCustodian in maintaining buildingsafetyandsecurity.This includes but is not limited to:
- Checkalldoorsandwindowsareclosedandlockedwhenbuildingnotinuse
- Working knowledgeofallchemicalsused inthe building their properstorageand handling
- Checkallfireextinguishersforcompliance
- Stayacutely awareofanysafetyconcernswithinthebuildingoronthegrounds

PhysicalDemands&WorkingConditions
- Physical Demands- While performing theduties of thisjob, theemployee isregularly required to communicate with others. Theemployee is required tositorstand and movearound forextended periods oftime. While performing the duties of this jobtheemployeemustbe able to push, pull, lift and carry over 25 pounds on occasion.
- WorkingConditions-Theemployee inthisposition mayexperience occasional exposureto blood, bodily fluids and tissue.Theemployee may also berequired to interact with unruly children.
- DrivingRequirement-Thispositionmayrequiredriving.
