Job summary

Kirtland Local School District is seeking a custodian to join their Substitute Custodial call list. Responsibilities include cleaning various areas of the school using different types of equipment such as vacuums and floor machines.

The ideal candidate will have prior custodial experience (preferred), a High School Diploma, and knowledge of floor care and hand tools. Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Must possess physical ability to lift and carry 70 lbs. and perform various physical tasks.
• Must complete criminal record background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties using various equipment.
• Work under the supervision of the Superintendent or designee.

• Must possess sufficient physical ability to perform necessary lifting, lift and carry 70 lbs., standing, climbing, walking, etc.
• Must possess demonstrated leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, staff, administrators, and parents.
• Satisfy all statutory provisions governing a criminal record background check including submission of all pre-employment requirements.
