Job summary

Kirtland Local School District is seeking a substitute Custodial to assist in cleaning various areas of the district using vacuums and floor machines. This role is on-call and ensures facilities are safe and well-maintained for students and staff.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma, knowledge of floor care and basic hand and power tools, and can lift up to 70 lbs. Prior custodial experience is preferred but not required; background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial experience preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma.
• Knowledge of floor care.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Required to use hand power tools and equipment in completion of duties.
• Must possess physical ability to lift 70 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities for working with students, staff, and parents.
• Satisfy criminal background check and pre-employment requirements.
• Recommendation of prior employer(s).
