Serving Maine7s Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members.

MSAD 75 is seeking a SubstituteCooks to join our vibrant educational community.

PAY RATE : 22.61/Hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Preparation of food, food portions and serving food to students, staff and visitors.
• Operate cash register.
• Notify the Food Service Director of supplies to be ordered.
• Clean up and maintain the kitchen and garbage collection area.
• Clean and maintain all food service equipment. Notify the Food Service Director of fixtures or equipment in need of repair or replacement.
• Receive and store supplies and maintain all storage areas.
• Submit reports within required timeframes to the Food Service Director; including, but not limited to, daily production reports.
• Follow applicable State and Federal regulations for the USDA Child Nutrition Program.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET.
• Math skills; cash register experience preferred.
• Interpersonal skills; friendly and helpful manner.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position.
• State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization.
